Doha: National Security Agency The Supreme Court issued a death sentence against the official responsible for armoring and booby-trapping vehicles for the terrorist group ISIS. The Iraqi National Security Service announced the execution of a senior ISIS vehicle armorer and bomb maker after his capture by National Security forces in Nineveh.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, the Service said: “In a high-quality security operation, the National Security Service in Nineveh Governorate arrested the terrorist known as ‘Abu Muhammad,’ who was responsible for a mobile workshop for armoring and rigging vehicles used in terrorist operations. This followed intelligence efforts, meticulous field surveillance, and obtaining the necessary judicial approvals.”

The statement added: “Investigations revealed the accused’s confession to managing a workshop specializing in armoring and rigging vehicles with explosives for terrorist organizations, as well as his adoption of Takfiri ideology.”

It continued: “After completing legal procedures, the Iraqi judiciary issued a death sentence against the convicted individual in accordance with the provisions of the Counter-Terrorism Law, as punishment for his crimes and his role in supporting terrorist activities and organizations.”
