Baghdad: The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) renewed its commitment to fulfilling its constitutional mission of upholding the law and safeguarding rights and freedoms. According to Iraqi News Agency, the Judicial Council released a statement on Sunday, coinciding with World Law Day, which is observed on September 13. The statement emphasized that the rule of law is the fundamental pillar for building the state and consolidating its institutions, ensuring rights and freedoms, and achieving justice and equality among all members of society.
