Kirkuk: Police forces arrested a suspect in the shooting outside the home of a member of parliament in Kirkuk. The Kirkuk Police Command stated in a press release that it received reports of gunfire outside the home of MP Kulsal Mohammed. A task force comprised of senior officers, anti-crime units, intelligence personnel, and traffic police was formed to pursue the suspect.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement added, ‘Through monitoring surveillance cameras and gathering precise intelligence, the team was able to identify the perpetrator and his location. He was apprehended, and the weapon used was seized, within one hour of the incident.’
