Baghdad: The Swiss Embassy in Baghdad announced today, Sunday, the commencement of duties by its new ambassador, Peter Nilsson.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the embassy stated in a press release: “We warmly welcome Ambassador Peter Nilsson, who has begun his duties as the new Swiss Ambassador to Iraq.” The statement emphasized the embassy’s hopes for enhancing the strong relationship between Switzerland and Iraq.
