Baghdad: A joint security force has successfully arrested a fugitive who was wanted for terrorism-related charges after he fled from Diyala province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrest was executed by a collaborative effort between the Diyala Police and the Directorate of Intelligence and Counterterrorism. The authorities were able to locate and apprehend the suspect following meticulous intelligence tracking. The individual is reportedly wanted by the judiciary under Article (4) of the Counterterrorism Law. Following his arrest, the suspect was handed over to the relevant authorities to proceed with the necessary legal actions against him.
