The Foreign Minister receives a copy of the credentials of the Philippine Ambassador to Baghdad

Baghdad Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein received today, Tuesday, a copy of the credentials of the Philippine Ambassador to Baghdad Genresu Kalonk.

The Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency received a copy of it that during the meeting, the two sides discussed relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly peoples.

The Minister expressed Baghdad’s aspiration for a greater role for the Philippines in various fields, stressing Baghdad’s interest in strengthening communication among officials of the two countries and opening channels for bilateral cooperation, calling for continued work to raise levels of coordination and consultation at all levels.

The Minister wished the Ambassador success and success in his duties in Baghdad, expressing the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all services to the diplomatic mission to achieve the common interests between the two countries.
