Tehran: The Iranian Foreign Ministry welcomed the Gulf Cooperation Council’s statement condemning the Zionist aggression against Tehran.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement: “The emergency GCC session reflects a shared understanding of Zionist violations of international laws.”

During an extraordinary meeting held via videoconference yesterday, the GCC Ministerial Council condemned “the Zionist attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, which undermine its sovereignty and security and constitute a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter,” stressing “the need to return to the diplomatic track.”
