Baghdad / NINA / The Minister of Finance, Taif Sami Muhammad, met a delegation of parliament members and former MPs, which included (Sami`a Ghallab, Aisha Al-Masari, Zaytoun Al-Dulaimi, Kamel Al-Akeli, Ahmed Rashid Al-Salman, and Youssef Al-Kalabi).

During the meeting, the Minister of Finance expressed her appreciation for the efforts to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and joint coordination between the legislative and executive institutions, in a way that ensures the achievement of the goals of the government program approved by the Parliament, and that would provide services to citizens and various segments and complete development projects in the interest of the national economy.

The meeting witnessed “discussing the most important axes related to financial and economic aspects, and focusing on the need to redouble efforts between the Ministry of Finance and the Parliamentary Finance Committee, as well as discussing the most important programs included in the draft of the next budget bill, and reaching common visions with the aim of maturing the necessary laws to achieve the requirements of the comprehensive development of the Iraqi economy.” / End
