Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and the Head of the New Generation Movement Party, Shaswar Abdul Wahid, discussed national issues on Thursday.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office released a statement detailing the discussions between the two leaders. They focused on the most important national issues, the progress of the implementation of the government program, and its objectives. These objectives are intended to have a direct impact on the economic and service conditions for citizens across Iraq.
The statement further noted that the meeting also addressed the political developments in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. It stressed the importance of continued dialogue among the Kurdish parties to reach an agreement that would facilitate the formation of a new government for the region.
