Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi received British Ambassador to Baghdad Irfan Siddiq on Wednesday. During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations and joint cooperation between their countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing the partnership between Iraq and the United Kingdom. Both parties emphasized the importance of continued collaboration in various sectors to foster mutual benefits for their nations.
