Washington: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that his country is ready to resume nuclear talks with Iran. In an interview with Fox News, Rubio stated, “We are ready to talk to them tomorrow and ready to start working on this agreement.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in response to a question about whether the United States is working to change the government in Iran, Rubio clarified, “That is not the goal we are working toward at all.” He further remarked, “I will not reveal sensitive intelligence about what we are seeing on the ground in Iran, but we have seen a lot, and I am very confident that we have succeeded in significantly delaying their development of nuclear weapons.”

Rubio concluded by expressing confidence in the impact of US efforts on Iran’s nuclear program. “I think we have set back their nuclear program for a very long time. I think it will take the Iranians many years before they can develop nuclear weapons,” he said.

The Foreign Minister’s statements come against the backdrop of three major Iranian nuclear facilities being subjected to US attacks in the past few hours: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that the war for them had begun, targeting several areas in Israel with dozens of missiles.
