Washington:US President Donald Trump stated that any potential conflict with Iran would end swiftly. He predicted a significant decrease in oil prices following the resolution of such a conflict.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump expressed in a press statement that the current expenses are minimal compared to the goal of preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

Trump further noted that Iran might hope to extend the conflict beyond the upcoming US midterm elections, but he assured that it would be resolved quickly.
