Ankara:The Turkish Ministry of Defense has expressed its support for the Iraqi government’s initiatives aimed at re-establishing stability and state authority in the Sinjar region.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Turkish Ministry of Defense issued a statement on Wednesday, acknowledging and welcoming the efforts of the Iraqi government to enhance state control and bring about normalcy in Sinjar.

The statement further emphasized the significance of Iraqi security forces taking over security responsibilities in the area, describing it as a crucial move towards achieving lasting stability in the region.
