Tokyo: Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus emphasized that Turkey firmly opposes any proposals concerning the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. Kurtulmus made these remarks during a press statement on Monday, while on an official visit to Japan, stating that Turkey will not accept any efforts to displace Palestinians or alter the current situation in Gaza. He urged the international community to take decisive action to safeguard the rights of the Palestinian people.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, earlier in the day, Speaker Kurtulmus had a meeting with Japanese Crown Prince Akishino at Akasaka Palace, as part of his official engagements in Japan. During the meeting, he expressed a desire for stronger Turkish-Japanese ties across various sectors, highlighting the historical connections that have enhanced the relationship between the two nations.
