Baqubah: A joint security force apprehended two arms dealers in Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate. Director of Media for the Diyala Police, Brigadier General Haitham Al-Shammari, informed a correspondent for the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the suspects were found with six hand grenades, a Beretta pistol, and two ammunition stores in their possession. Additionally, the vehicle used in their operations was seized.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Al-Shammari emphasized that the Diyala Police Command remains committed to its security efforts. The ongoing operations aim at pursuing outlaws and establishing security and stability across all areas of the governorate.
