Baghdad: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities for Cultural Affairs, Fadhil Al-Badrani, inaugurated an art exhibition at the Gulbenkian Hall in Baghdad, organized by the Horizon Arts Association.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry announced in a press release that the exhibition, titled ‘Chromatic Hymns,’ featured over 100 artworks and was attended by a group of visual artists and art enthusiasts. The Undersecretary expressed that the exhibition showcases the enduring strength of visual art in Iraq.

The Undersecretary stated, “We opened an art exhibition at the Gulbenkian Hall for the Horizon Arts Association, showcasing dozens of beautiful artworks by outstanding artists,” and emphasized that “this exhibition undoubtedly confirms that visual art in Iraq remains as pioneering as ever.”

Shaima Al-Tamimi, the head of the association, added, “In cooperation with the Department of Public Arts, we organized an art exhibition featuring 125 works by 100 artists,” highlighting that “the works ranged from abstract to realist to cubist, combining color and music.”
