Baghdad: The US Presidential Envoy commended the soundness of the Iraqi judiciary’s procedures in investigating terrorist prisoners. During his meeting with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, on Tuesday, US Envoy Tom Barrack said, ‘We commend the exceptional efforts of the Iraqi judiciary in handling terrorist prisoners and the soundness of the investigative procedures conducted with them.’

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barrack affirmed the United States’ support for the judiciary’s efforts to fulfill its constitutional obligations.
