Hillah: A joint force from the National Security Service, in cooperation with the Babylon Police, successfully apprehended a wanted individual on charges of murder on Sunday. The arrest took place in the Shomali district, situated south of Hillah, following the issuance of an arrest warrant.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a source within the force revealed that the arrest was the result of a coordinated effort involving follow-up measures and collaboration with the National Security Service. The suspect was apprehended during an ambush set up specifically for him in the Shomali district. The individual is wanted for the murder of a woman.

The source further stated that the police have transferred the accused to the relevant authorities to undergo investigation.
