Baqubah:Diyala Security forces have arrested an individual wanted on terrorism charges and seized weapons and ammunition north of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a joint security force conducted an operation in the Al-Adhaim sub-district of Diyala Governorate targeting wanted individuals. The operation took place in the villages of Albu Bakr, on the outskirts of Al-Adhaim, and resulted in the arrest of a suspect under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law. Additionally, the forces seized mortar shells, Kalashnikov rifles, and various types of ammunition.

This operation is part of ongoing security efforts and high-level coordination among security and intelligence agencies aimed at pursuing individuals wanted by the judiciary. The efforts also focus on seizing weapons and ammunition to enhance security and stability throughout Diyala Governorate.
