Baghdad: The Meteorological Authority has announced a forecast for the upcoming days, indicating a slight decrease in temperatures across Iraq.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi Meteorological Organization revealed in a press release that Friday will experience clear and hot weather throughout the country. Light to moderate northwesterly winds are expected, with a slight rise in temperatures in the central region compared to the previous day, while the southern region will see a slight decrease.
The recorded minimum temperature in Baghdad today was 28 degrees Celsius, with an anticipated maximum of 47 degrees Celsius. The forecast for Saturday suggests continued clear and hot conditions with the appearance of some clouds in the central region, accompanied by light, variable winds. A slight decrease in temperatures is expected in both the central and southern regions, while the northern region's temperatures will remain stable.
The statement further elaborates that Sunday will present clear weather with occasional clouds in the northern and southern regions. Winds will vary but eventually shift to moderate northwesterly winds, resulting in a slight temperature increase. As Monday approaches, clear weather is expected countrywide, with moderate northwesterly winds intensifying during the day. This may lead to dust storms in parts of the central and southern regions, alongside a slight temperature drop in the northern and southern areas, while the central region will experience a reduction of several degrees.
