Hillah: A young man has committed suicide by hanging himself in his home located south of Hillah, in the center of the Babylon Governorate. The tragic incident occurred in the Al-Hamza Al-Gharbi district, leaving the community in shock.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of Media for Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, reported that the police received a report about the suicide. Upon arrival at the scene, the authorities discovered that the young man had taken his life by hanging himself inside his residence.

Brigadier General Al-Husseini further stated that the police have transferred the body to forensic medicine for necessary procedures and have initiated a thorough investigation to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation aims to uncover any underlying factors that may have contributed to the young man’s decision to take his own life.
