Hillah: The River Police of the Babylon Police Command have recovered the body of an unidentified young man from the Euphrates River in the Hashimiyah District, located south of Hillah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babylon Police Media Director, Major General Adel Al-Husseini, stated that the body is believed to be that of an Arbaeen pilgrim. The discovery was made by the police who were conducting operations in the area.

The body has been transferred to the forensic medicine office for identification purposes, as authorities work to determine the identity of the young man and the circumstances surrounding his death.
