Berri’s Monday visitors

House Speaker,Nabih Berri, received a delegation from the Council for Arab and International Relations, chaired by Mohammad Jassem Al-Sager, on Monday in Ayn el-Tineh, and included the vice president of Iraq, Iyad Allawi, former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, former Jordanian Premier Taher el-Masri and Ambassador Mohammad al-Sallal.

In addition, Berri met with the National Committee for Lebanese Women Affairs, chaired by its vice-president, Randa Assi Berri, who emphasized the importance of women's participation in parliament and in the political arena.

On the other hand, Berri met with former MP Najah Wakim, who said at the end of the meeting that "the interview focused on the electoral law", recalling that "the next government is in charge of the legislative process on the basis of a law that would respect the Constitution and the national agreement."
