MP: The National Alliance Rejected Conditions Of Iraqi Forces Coalition And Will Vote By Majority To Pass The Draft Law Of The PMF

BAGHDAD / MP for the National Alliance, Ali al-Safi announced that his coalition rejected the conditions provided by the Iraqi Forces Coalition and will vote by the majority to pass the draft law of the popular mobilization forces.

Safi said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / that "the coalition introduced during the recent meetings included a series of new conditions to amend the wording of some items of the draft law to pass it."

He explained that among the conditions included 40% of the clan mobilization in the liberated areas to the popular mobilization forces, and to be formed in each province from its sons exclusively, and the vice president of the PMF from the tribal mobilization. "

He added, "The National Alliance absolutely refused to identify any ratios and numbers for the components in the project of the PMF Act, and the nomination of leaders and the distribution of positions is within the power of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Prime Minister," noting that "the National Alliance would go to the majority vote, and all MPs of the blocs were asked to be present to vote on the bill scheduled on Saturday session. "
