National Assembly: State Building Is Not A “Deceptive Deal” To Win Votes

BAGHDAD - The Secretary-General of the National Assembly of Iraq, Aras Habib, stressed that building the state on sound foundations represents a responsibility (conscience) and not a deceptive deal to win votes.

Habib said in a statement that "looking for serious solutions to the clear lack of services and employment requires well-planned plans in the near and long term."

"It requires a living by the official among the people, but not to make promises that are not realized, but to know the verifiable priorities," he said.
