BAGHDAD / Fighter jets belonging to the Turkish Air Force bombed 12 targets for the PKK in northern Iraq.
According to the Turkish Chiefs of Staff in a news statement on Monday said that "fighter jets carried out raids after receiving intelligence information about the positions of the PKK in northern Iraq.".
The statement added that "the fighters returned to their bases safely after targeting the organization's sites." Without casualties or damage.
The Turkish aircraft are occasionally violated Iraqi airspace to target PKK's sites and prosecute its members in northern Iraq in response to attacks inside Turkish territory.
