Turkish Prime Minister Calls Kurds To Abandon The Referendum

BAGHDAD - Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim called on the administration of the Kurdistan region to abandon the decision of the referendum, describing it by mistake.

He said in a press statement that the region suffers from many crises, considering that "conducting the referendum will generate a new problem and will not benefit the region or contribute to resolving the crisis in the Middle East.

The referendum is scheduled to take place in the Kurdistan region on the twenty-fifth of this month.
