Baghdad The MP of the state of law, Kateh Al-Rikabi, ruled out the adoption of new laws during what is remained from the current parliament’s session.

In a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), Al-Rikabi confirmed the possibility of holding parliament sessions at the beginning of next month, in the event that the MPs attend, but without passing laws, but rather to discuss the country’s conditions and activate the Parliament’s oversight role.

He explained: “Most of the important laws will be transferred to the next parliamentary session because there is not enough time to agree on and approve them in the House of Representatives.”
