Baghdad: An official source announced the arrival of a new shipment of US dollar banknotes in Iraq valued at $500 million.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the source disclosed that the US Federal Reserve has sent this shipment to the Central Bank of Iraq. The funds are designated for transactions related to travelers and foreign remittances, pending the approval and regulations of the Central Bank of Iraq.
