Karbala: Head of the State of Law Coalition Nouri al-Maliki has issued a warning about the potential for sedition, emphasizing ongoing attempts to undermine the political process.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Maliki delivered this cautionary message during a speech at the founding conference of tribal leaders and sheikhs in Karbala. He urged vigilance against sedition, stating, “Beware of sedition, which God forbid if it occurs, it ends everything, and what happened in Syria is the best evidence.”

He further highlighted concerns about the remnants of ISIS, the dissolved Baath Party, and others with alternative agendas, describing them as potential instruments of the feared sedition.
