Baghdad: The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, expressed his approval of the Federal Council of Representatives’ decision to vote in favor of amending the federal general budget law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barzani commended all individuals involved in the successful passage of this amendment. He extended his gratitude to the negotiating team of the regional government for their diligent work in creating a mechanism to address the issue of salaries. Barzani remarked, “We hope that this positive step in amending the budget law will be the beginning of solving all other problems, and the federal government’s commitment to sending salaries and financial dues to the Kurdistan Region.”
