Kirkuk: The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, has honored the Commander of Kirkuk Police, Major General Fattah Mahmoud Al-Khafaji, alongside a specialized team, for their successful interception of a smuggling attempt involving a substantial amount of Syrian currency.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the team managed to seize a truck transporting five billion, one million, and sixty-five thousand Syrian liras. The Minister emphasized the importance of supporting the Kirkuk Police and strengthening the efforts of checkpoints to ensure the effective performance of their duties.
