Istanbul: A 4.8-magnitude earthquake has struck the Aegean Sea in western Turkey. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that the seismic event occurred at 15:55 local time. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 5.79 kilometers off Turkey’s western coast in the Aegean Sea.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, there have been no reports of losses as a result of the earthquake so far.
