Al-Sudani Engages with Supreme Judicial Council on Enhancing Cooperation


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faeq Zidane, to discuss key national issues and the government’s commitment to supporting judiciary independence. The meeting focused on strengthening the collaboration between the executive and judicial authorities to address national challenges effectively.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Office released a statement highlighting the discussions on improving cooperation between the executive and judicial branches. The aim is to overcome barriers in executing the government program. Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the critical role of the Supreme Judicial Council in law enforcement and safeguarding citizens’ interests, describing it as a cornerstone of the nation’s security and stability.
