Baghdad: Head of the Government Communication Team, Ammar Munim, discussed with the President of the Turks Abroad and Related Communities (Y.T.B), Murad Kazanci, today, Sunday, ways of cooperation in the field of education, and providing 200 scholarships in Turkey for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the team stated in a statement that Ammar Munim discussed with Murad Kazanci ways of cooperation in the field of education, indicating that the Turkish side announced the provision of 200 scholarships in Turkey for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students.

The statement added that the two sides agreed to open the door to joint cooperation between the two countries to increase the number of students benefiting from the scholarships in various specializations.

It also pointed out that the scholarship includes all the student’s requirements, including covering transportation costs, providing housing, meals, and monthly allowances, in addition to a preparatory year to teach the Turkish language before starting academic studies.
