Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has directed the resolution of the investigation file regarding the agricultural initiative loan. In a statement issued by Al-Sudani’s media office, it was detailed that this directive is part of the Prime Minister’s ongoing efforts to address files that have been referred to the Integrity Commission. The focus is to resolve investigations related to legal, financial, and administrative violations, particularly those involving the misuse of administrative positions and the disbursement of agricultural initiative advances and support under the Ministry of Agriculture.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister has instructed that all legal aspects of the violations identified and referred to the Integrity Commission be concluded. He has emphasized holding accountable those found negligent and taking legal action against individuals responsible for these violations, which have resulted in the waste of public money. Moreover, Al-Sudani has directed that the misappropriated funds be recovered and returned to the state treasury. He also stipulated that employees involved in these violations should not be assigned any future administrative positions and must be referred to competent courts to ensure that the legal process is appropriately followed.
