Gaza: Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif Al-Qanou confirmed that the resumption of the prisoner exchange process depends on Israel’s commitment to implementing the humanitarian protocol, according to the guarantees of the mediators.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Qanou indicated in a press statement that the resumption of the exchange process came as a result of the movement’s commitment to the mediators and obtaining guarantees to implement the agreement.

He pointed out that the movement is waiting for Israel to start implementing the humanitarian protocol, based on the promises and guarantees provided by the mediators.

Al-Qanou stressed that Israel does not have any other options to release the remaining Palestinian prisoners, except by implementing all the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
