Baghdad: The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, has called on Iraq's Arab leaders to unite in opposition to normalization and to extend their support to their Arab brothers.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sadr made his appeal through a post on the X website, where he urged Arab leaders to "stand united against normalization with the Zionist entity, whatever the circumstances." He emphasized the importance of solidarity with the people of Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen, as well as with those in Sudan and Libya.

Al-Sadr further called for unity with a democratic Syria that is free from extremism and sectarianism, and he encouraged support for Iraq's efforts towards reform and independence. His statement reflects a broader call for regional cooperation and resistance against external influences perceived as threats to Arab unity and sovereignty.
