Al-Sisi Highlights Grave Phase in Palestinian Issue During Arab Summit

Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi emphasized the critical juncture the Palestinian issue is experiencing, marking it as one of the most perilous phases in its history. In his address at the Arab Summit, he underscored the complex historical moment the region is facing, with multiple challenges requiring unified action.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sisi urged the need for collective efforts to resolve ongoing conflicts, stressing the unprecedented circumstances demanding a cohesive stance from all Arab nations. He highlighted the dire situation faced by Palestinians, noting the genocidal threats and the risk of their eradication from Gaza.

He further criticized the failure of the ceasefire agreement to withstand Israeli actions, appealing to US President Donald Trump to play a role in facilitating a ceasefire in Gaza.
