Baghdad: The Seismic Observatory of the Iraqi Meteorological Authority announced the recording of four earthquakes on the Iraqi-Iranian border within the past 24 hours.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Authority stated that the first earthquake occurred near the Iraqi-Iranian border in Halabja Governorate in the Kurdistan Region. Additionally, two earthquakes were recorded near the Iraqi-Iranian border in the Khanaqin area of Diyala Governorate, while a fourth earthquake was recorded inside Iranian territory.
The statement indicated that the strength of these earthquakes ranged between 2.8 and 3.4 degrees.
