Baghdad: Sheikh Humam Hamoudi received Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, Minister of Health, and they discussed the health situation in the country, the expansion plans adopted by the Ministry, and the challenges facing the health sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the two sides discussed the Ministry’s work plans and programs, new health investment projects, the expansion of specialized centers, and programs aimed at reducing patients’ travel abroad by expanding the establishment of specialized centers and activating oversight mechanisms and field visits to ensure the quality of health services, thus achieving a qualitative leap and a more efficient and equitable health system.
