Basra Governor Engages with Al-Amiri on New Government Formation


Basra: The Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, met with Hadi Al-Amiri, the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, in Baghdad to discuss the latest developments in the political process and the formation of the new government. This meeting comes in the context of the post-election phase and ongoing dialogues among political forces.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media office of the Basra governorate stated that the discussions focused on the evolving political landscape and the progress of understandings being reached between various parties. Both Al-Eidani and Al-Amiri emphasized the urgency of forming a government capable of addressing public demands while ensuring political and service-related stability.



The discussions also covered the post-election phase, highlighting the need for increased efforts and agreements to establish a unified vision. This vision aims to support the next stage and tackle existing political and administrative challenges.
