Baghdad: The leader of the Sadrist Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, has urged the revival of the Samarra Hawza and announced the establishment of a committee to supervise his religious program.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sadr emphasized in a statement that it is essential to rejuvenate the Hawza of Samarra to disseminate the authentic teachings of Islam and doctrine. He highlighted the need to support students of religious knowledge and to conduct Hawza classes effectively.

Al-Sadr has appointed several religious figures from his office to manage the Hawza in Samarra. Additionally, he has declared the formation of a committee consisting of religious figures and leaders from the Peace Brigades. This committee will be responsible for overseeing his religious program.
