Baghdad: Planning Minister Mohammed Tamim announced the final results of Iraq’s general population census Planning Minister Mohammed Tamim stated in a press conference today that Iraq’s population has reached 46,118,793, and the total number of families in Iraq is approximately eight million.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the minister added that the number of males in Iraq exceeds 23 million, representing 50.2%, while the number of females exceeds 22 million, representing 49.8%.
