Tehran: Local media reported that Iranian authorities have decided to launch three Iranian remote sensing satellites next Sunday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iranian government decided to launch the three remote sensing satellites to provide various services in the fields of agriculture, biodiversity, the environment, and water resources.

It said, “The Kowsar 1.5 satellite will be launched into Earth’s orbit next Sunday. This launch is part of a program to send three remote sensing satellites.”

These satellites include Zafar 2, Paya, and Kowsar 1.5, which are intended to provide various services in the fields of agriculture, biodiversity, the environment, and water resources. The launch will take place from Russia using a Soyuz carrier rocket.
