Diyala: Diyala Police Command announced today the seizure of a weapons cache hidden near a drainage canal in the Abi Saida district, northeast of Baquba, the provincial capital. A statement by the Command indicated that a joint task force was formed from the Abi Saida Police Department, supported by the Rapid Response Regiment, following intelligence information about the cache.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the task force, accompanied by an explosives expert, quickly moved to the specified location to search and secure the area. The operation resulted in the seizure of 31 SPG-9 rockets, which were hidden in a manner posing a direct threat to the security of citizens.
