Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji emphasized the importance of strengthening Iraq’s foreign relations and continuing its openness to the world.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by his office indicated that al-Araji received Dr. Saleh al-Tamimi, the Iraqi Ambassador to Spain, and stressed the importance of bolstering Iraq’s foreign relations and maintaining its openness to the world. He also commended the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ role in strengthening diplomatic channels with brotherly and friendly nations, in a manner that serves Iraq’s best interests.
