Death Toll in Homs Mosque Explosion Rises to Five, with 21 Injured


Homs: The Syrian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the explosion at the Imam Ali Mosque in the Wadi al-Dahab neighborhood of Homs province has risen to five, with 21 others injured.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Dr. Najib al-Naasan, Director of the Referral, Ambulance, and Emergency Department at the Syrian Ministry of Health, stated, “Five people were killed and 21 others were injured in the explosion at the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in the Wadi al-Dahab neighborhood of Homs, according to initial reports.”



Earlier, the Syrian news agency SANA reported an explosion inside the Imam Ali Mosque in the Wadi al-Dahab neighborhood of Homs, the nature of which is being investigated.
