Baghdad: The Secretary General of the Iraqi Islamic Party, Rashid al-Azzawi, extended his congratulations to the Iraqi Army on the occasion of its anniversary.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Azzawi expressed his sentiments in a tweet, saying: “On the sixth of January each year, we recall past glories, recount heroic deeds, and remember sacrifices.” His message highlighted the honor and respect the party holds for the military forces.

He further stated, “On the anniversary of the valiant Iraqi Army, we congratulate all its members and pray for mercy upon its righteous martyrs who gave their lives for beloved Iraq.” The statement reflects the appreciation and reverence for those who have served and sacrificed for the nation.
