Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament, Haibat al-Halbousi, has called for a session to host the Ministers of Interior and Defense along with the Chief of Staff of the Army to discuss pressing security concerns.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a press release from the Parliament’s Media Office stated that the Speaker has directed this session to address the country’s security situation and issues related to border control with neighboring countries. The invitation extends to relevant officials from both ministries, aiming to foster a comprehensive dialogue on enhancing national security measures.
